Why I’m Dreaming Big (And Not Waiting to Start)

My Big Dream: From India to Harvard — Building My Own Brand

Hey! I’m Mitz — a teen from India with a heart full of dreams and a mind full of ideas.

This blog is my little space on the internet where I’ll share my journey of trying to become the person I’ve always wanted to be: a confident, independent businesswoman who builds something of her own.

I know it sounds like a big dream — but that’s exactly why I’m chasing it.

I Want to Be a Businesswoman

Since I was a kid, I’ve had this strong feeling that I want to build something. Not just work for someone else — but actually create a brand, a company, or something that’s mine.

Something that matters.

I don’t want to just “get a job.” I want to make an impact. I want to do something meaningful and bold. And deep down, I know I can.

For me, this journey starts with one word: Harvard.

Why Harvard (and Why Economics)

I know it’s a big goal. I’ve heard people say, “Harvard? That’s too hard.” But honestly? That just makes me want it more.

I want to study Economics at Harvard because:

I want to understand how businesses actually work

I want to learn how to turn ideas into strategies

And I want to be around people who think big like I do

It’s not about the name. It’s about the mindset.

And I feel like Harvard is the place where I’ll grow into the kind of leader I dream of becoming.

What I’m Doing Right Now

Right now, I’m in 8th grade (almost in 9th!) here in India. I know it’s still early, but I’ve already started planning ahead:

I’m focusing more on subjects like Math, English, and Business Studies

I’ve started reading up on what Harvard looks for in students

I’m working on my confidence, communication, and just putting myself out there

And, well… this blog is my first step in building my personal brand

It’s scary sometimes, but exciting too.

What I Hope to Build One Day

If everything goes the way I imagine (or maybe even better), here’s what I want:

To start my own company — something different and real

To create job opportunities and help others rise with me

To be independent, smart, and strong

And maybe even inspire girls like me to dream big and actually go for it

Not just talk about it. Not just wish for it.

But do it.

 Just Saying...

Look — I know it’s not easy to dream big, especially when people expect you to “stay in your lane.”

But I’m not waiting for anyone’s permission.

I’ve decided that this is my path.

And no matter how long it takes, or how hard it gets, I’m going for it.

If you’ve got a big dream too, just remember:

You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to start.

Thanks for reading. More soon.
